Zefiro is a line of jewels made up of hemp pigments from our “HempPigment” line mixed withepoxy resin. This combination, throughthe castingtechnique inmultiple silicone molds, allows us to create one of a kind pearlsfrom the various naturalshades of hemp, fromgreen, to beigeand brown:the colors ofnature, trees,woods andpollen. Thenaturalmaterial is thejewel itself andnot just adecoration.
HISTORY OF “ZEFIRO”
Zefiro, or Zeffiro, is a character from Greekmythology, personification of the wind that blows from the west, a light breeze, messenger of spring. Son of the Titan Astraeus and Eos, husband of the nymph Chloris whom he transformed into a goddess. He is depicted as a winged young man holding a bunch of spring flowers in his hand. His kingdom is “the places where the evening star rises and where the sun extinguishes its last fires”.
